... I WON'T FAIL YOU!

Bursting though the glimmering door from the pain of the third floor into the forth floor, Tigerpaw took a breath at the colours of the roon, it was glimmering, shining bright, it was beautiful. And it seemed to sooth the pain she had felt before, and it was nice, for a second Tigerpaw hoped this floor wouldn't be so bad, but oh how wrong she was. the few seconds of calmness that she felt were gone in an instand as shadows and images of the ones she loved formed in front of her.

At first the shadows seemed to disperse and vanish as she took a step towards them, but in the second they had vanished the reformed again, this time the colours of the room engulfed the shadow as it took its form.

Tigerpaw blinked as she recognised the shape before her. She gasped, eyes wide. "Hopflight!"

It was a few seconds before the figure spoke with eyes hard and focused directly on her.  "I expected great things from my Grandprentice, but you've become a joke! I'm disappointed in you." It spat, with venom in it's voice and eyes that could kill.

Tigerpaw felt a weight around her neck, its words seemed to be weighing her down like a chain, but then the figure of Hopflight vanished and she felt like a piece of her had gone with it. She closed her eyes and took another step forwards, daring to open her eyes she stopped dead in her tracks when her nose touched something cold and wet.

"Tidefost, Mentor..."she breathed.

"Tigerpaw, How could you!" The figure of Tidefrost roared at her, anger and shame in her eyed.

"Tidefrost ... I ... What .... No I ...." words escaped the small apprentice she felt more weighed down by the words. Blinking rapidly she closed her eyes tightly for a moment. "No ... what is going on ... I  ... what have I done to make you say these things to be ... I'm trying .... I ... I'm..." she shook her head refusing to say the words that boiled in her mind.

She opened her eyes and walked up to Tidefrost before taking another step forward, the figure vanished in a plume of dark shadows. The only thing is as she took a step forward to where she deemed the door to be there was nothing but darkness, black .. cold wall.

"What..." Tigerpaw said turning around again she saw nothing, but cold sad, disappointed yellow eye's staring straight back at her. "L-Littlestep... what ..." she was cut of as the figure began to speak

"I'm very disappointed in you, Tigerpaw. You need to be more responsible."

"But ... what ... what's going on ... I don't understand ... has something happened?" She started but was never answered as the figure vanished, and the weight of the words seemed to weigh her down just that little bit more. She flopped to the floor, she had failed, she was still stuck in this black hole, and the others could be dead ... what if they were dead ... and she had failed. What if this was her end?

Closing her eyes for the last time she seemed as though she was about to give up when yet another voice pierced her thoughts.

"I could have sworn you were above this." it spoke.

Tigerpaw stood and turned. "Mama Dove!" she breathed. But the eyes she was met with were nothing but angry and mad, and seemed to add the final weight to the heaviness she felt around her neck. Tigerpaw was gasping for breath now and the colours flooded back to the room and the insults grew louder and louder deafening her.

dropping to the floor, gasping for breath Tigerpaw drew every ounce of strength she could muster and yowled. "NO I WILL NOT GIVE IN ... THIS MIGHT BE IT FOR ME BUT I WILL NOT FAIL YOU ... NO ... I WON'T! ... EVEN IF I DIE ... I'LL MAKE YOU PROUD!
